Evidence, worthy or not?

When I got into this paranormal game, I thought that the idea was to gain evidence to help prove to others, the existence of spirit. Over the four years of doing it I've posted scraps of evp's and even table tipping videos or ouija glass moments which in my mind are of fascinating insight.
But rather than being gushed over by the followers of the pages, all I seem to get at best are a small handful of emotionless 'likes'.
Even team mates seem to be only half interested at most. Why is this?
Evidence seems to be far less important than I imagined. So what is of value? I guess the act of being in the room is the only reward in the long term.
The best photos or videos you post will always have detractors. The fact that you have a reputation for debunking fakes etc  doesn't seem to have an impact on what you present.
What reward would you actually get fit posting a great but if fake evidence anyway?
It's not as if fame and notoriety beckons off the back of a photo of a weird camera smudge.

Maybe it's only worth something as a reminder of your own experiences.
